CSP: method for cloning large pieces of DNA using plasmids, usually for gene mapping; large pieces mean fewer clones to analyze and cytogenetic mapping techniques can be used, but transfection is more difficult.,MSH: DNA constructs that are composed of, at least, elements such as a REPLICATION ORIGIN; TELOMERE; and CENTROMERE, that are required for successful replication, propagation to and maintenance in progeny cells. In addition, they are constructed to carry other sequences for analysis or gene transfer.
