Membrane Transport Proteins

Source:http://linkedlifedata.com/resource/umls/id/C0596902

CSP: diverse family of membrane proteins which catalyze the transfer of small, usually lipophobic solutes across the membrane; may mediate active (ATP-driven), co- (countergradient-driven), or passive transport.,MSH: Membrane proteins whose primary function is to facilitate the transport of molecules across a biological membrane. Included in this broad category are proteins involved in active transport (BIOLOGICAL TRANSPORT, ACTIVE), facilitated transport and ION CHANNELS.
