UWDA: Compartment which is surrounded by the articular capsule and contains all intra-articular structures including the synovial capsule and the synovial cavity of joint. Examples: Joint cavity of knee, joint cavity of shoulder.,FMA: Anatomical compartment space which is bound by the internal surface of an articular capsule.,FMA: Anatomical compartment which has as its parts an articular capsule surrounding the joint cavity (or joint compartment space) and the content of that space which includes the synovial capsule.
