NCI: Stage IV uterine sarcoma is divided into stages IVA and IVB. In stage IVA, cancer has spread to the bladder and/or bowel wall. In stage IVB, cancer has spread to other parts of the body beyond the pelvis, including lymph nodes in the abdomen and groin.,NCI: Stage IV includes: IVA (T4, Any N, M0); IVB (Any T, Any N, M1). T4: Tumor involves bladder or rectum. M0: No distant metastasis. M1: Distal metastasis (excluding adnexa, pelvic and abdominal tissues). This staging applies to leiomyosarcoma, endometrial stromal sarcoma, and adenosarcoma. (AJCC 7th ed.)
