NCI: Ann Arbor Classification: Stage I: Involvement of a single lymph node region (I); or localized involvement of a single extralymphatic organ or site in the absence of any lymph node involvement (IE) (rare in Hodgkin lymphoma).,NCI: Stage I is divided into stages I and IE. In stage I, cancer is found in one or more lymph nodes in one lymph node group. In stage IE, cancer is found outside the lymph nodes in one organ or area.
