NCI: Cell division protein kinase 5 (292 aa, ~33 kDa) is encoded by the human CDK5 gene. This protein plays a role in protein phosphorylation and may be involved in cell cycle regulation.,MSH: A serine-threonine kinase that plays important roles in CELL DIFFERENTIATION; CELL MIGRATION; and CELL DEATH of NERVE CELLS. It is closely related to other CYCLIN-DEPENDENT KINASES but does not seem to participate in CELL CYCLE regulation.
