NCI: Gastrin/cholecystokinin type B receptor (447 aa, 48 kD) is a cell division process protein that is encoded by the human CCKBR gene and has roles in regulation of cell proliferation, feeding behavior, sensory perception, and digestion.,MSH: A subtype of cholecystokinin receptor found primarily in the CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM and the GASTRIC MUCOSA. It may play a role as a neuromodulator of dopaminergic neurotransmission the regulation of GASTRIC ACID secretion from GASTRIC PARIETAL CELLS.
