MSH: The non-neuronal cells that surround the neuronal cell bodies of the GANGLIA. They are distinguished from the perineuronal satellite oligodendrocytes (OLIGODENDROGLIA) found in the central nervous system.,NCI: A flattened non-neuronal cell surrounding a ganglion cell.,NCI: An elongated cell that is closely associated with a muscle fiber; it either is flattened against the fiber or occupies shallow depressions in its surface.
