UMD: Masks used in conjunction with resuscitation devices. They are constructed of rubber or plastic materials and include a flexible rim to maintain an adequate seal around the nose and mouth during positive pressure ventilation. Resuscitator masks may be reusable or disposable (i.e., single use); they are available in adult, pediatric, and infant sizes.
