UMD: Prepackaged collections (either custom or standard) of devices and supplies designed for use typically as disposable components of injectors intended for automated injection of radiopaque fluids into the arteries and/or veins. These kits usually include a barrel syringe, contrast media bottles, a manifold, and appropriate tubing. The combination of the kits and angiographic injectors is used to make vessels contrast with the surrounding tissues (i.e., angiographic procedures). Dedicated angiographic kits including a reusable syringe sub-assembly and a disposable manifold sub-assembly are also available.
