MSH: A genus of gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic, rod-shaped bacteria that occurs in fish and other aquatic animals and in a variety of mammals, including man. Its organisms probably do not belong to the normal intestinal flora of man and can cause diarrhea.,NCI: A genus of facultatively anaerobic gram negative rod shaped bacterium in the phylum Proteobacteria and the family Enterobacteriaceae.,NCI: Any bacteria that is not assigned to the species level but can be assigned to the Plesiomonas genus level.
