CSP: cis-4-amino-5-chloro-N-(1-(3- (p-fluorophenoxy)propyl)-3-methoxy-4- piperidyl)-o-anisamide; peristaltic stimulant under clinical evaluation for constipation, gastroparesis, intestinal pseudoobstruction, and other GI motility disorders.,MSH: A substituted benzamide used for its prokinetic properties. It is used in the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease, functional dyspepsia, and other disorders associated with impaired gastrointestinal motility. Cisapride facilitates release of acetylcholine from the myenteric plexus, resulting in increased gastrointestinal motility.
