CSP: a widely distributed glycoprotein with a diverse set of biologic actions, the most prominent of which is its ability to promote cell interactions; another unique feature is its induction at times of tissue injury and remodeling.,CSP: secreted protein from Sertoli cells.,NCI: Clusterin (449 aa, ~52 kDa) is encoded by the human CLU gene. This protein may be involved in lipid metabolism, complement regulation and the initiation of apoptosis.,MSH: A highly conserved heterodimeric glycoprotein that is differentially expressed during many severe physiological disturbance states such as CANCER; APOPTOSIS; and various NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS. Clusterin is ubiquitously expressed and appears to function as a secreted MOLECULAR CHAPERONE.
