MSH: Cell surface proteins that bind bombesin or closely related peptides with high affinity and trigger intracellular changes influencing the behavior of cells. Gastrin- releasing peptide (GRP); GRP 18-27 (neuromedin C), and neuromedin B are endogenous ligands of bombesin receptors in mammals.,NCI: Gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (384 aa, ~43 kDa) is encoded by the human GRPR gene. This protein plays a role in the mediation of gastrin-dependent signaling.,NCI: Neuromedin B receptor protein (390 aa, 43 kD) is a cell communication process protein that is encoded by the human NMBR gene and has a role in phospholipase C-activating G protein-coupled signaling.
