CSP: depression of normal electrical rhythms recorded from cerebral cortex, spreading outward from an area of stimulation or cortical damage; rate of spread closely approximates the visual aura of a migraine.,MSH: The decrease in neuronal activity (related to a decrease in metabolic demand) extending from the site of cortical stimulation.
