MSH: Sepsis associated with HYPOTENSION or hypoperfusion despite adequate fluid resuscitation. Perfusion abnormalities may include, but are not limited to LACTIC ACIDOSIS; OLIGURIA; or acute alteration in mental status.,CSP: shock caused by infection; frequently caused by gram negative bacteria, although some cases have been caused by other bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa; characterized by fever, chills, tachycardia, tachypnea, and hypotension.
