CSP: pathway of hexose oxidation in which glucose-6-phosphate undergoes two successive oxidations by NADP, the final one being an oxidative decarboxylation to form a pentose phosphate.,GO: The process in which glucose is oxidized, coupled to NADPH synthesis.
