MSH: A member of the serpin family of proteins. It inhibits both the tissue-type and urokinase-type plasminogen activators.,NCI: Plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (402 aa, ~45 kDa) is encoded by the human SERPINE1 gene. This protein plays a role in both cell adhesion and the modulation of plasmin activity.
