MSH: Proteases which use a metal, normally ZINC, in the catalytic mechanism. This group of enzymes is inactivated by metal CHELATORS.,NCI: A proteolytic enzyme that uses a metal ion, usually zinc, to catalyze the hydrolysis of peptide bonds. This protease is inhibited by metal chelating agents.
