MSH: A transmissible viral disease of birds caused by avian herpesvirus 2 (HERPESVIRUS 2, GALLID) and other MARDIVIRUS. There is lymphoid cell infiltration or lymphomatous tumor formation in the peripheral nerves and gonads, but may also involve visceral organs, skin, muscle, and the eye.,CSP: highly contagious virus disease of poultry that is characterized especially by proliferation of lymphoid cells and is caused by a herpesvirus having several serotypes.,NCI: A viral infection in chickens caused by the herpes virus. It is characterized by tissue lymphocytic infiltration, limb paralysis and development of tumors.
