MSH: The transference of either one or both of the lungs from one human or animal to another.,CSP: transference of lung between individuals of the same species, or between individuals of different species.,MEDLINEPLUS: <p>Lung transplantation is surgery to replace one or both diseased lungs with a healthy lung or lungs from a donor. During the operation, the surgeon makes a cut in the chest and removes the diseased lung.
