MSH: The total relative probability, expressed on a logarithmic scale, that a linkage relationship exists among selected loci. Lod is an acronym for "logarithmic odds.",NCI: A statistical estimate of whether two genetic loci are physically near enough to each other (or linked) on a particular chromosome that they are likely to be inherited together.
