MSH: A species of ALPHAVIRUS that is the etiologic agent of encephalomyelitis in humans and equines. It is seen most commonly in parts of Central and South America.,CSP: causes encephalomyelitis in horses, mules, and man; infection reservoir in birds, transmitted by mosquitoes; distribution in South America (including Venezuela), Mexico, and Florida.
