The authors report a case of metastatic thyroid carcinoma to the kidney in a patient with widespread dissemination. She underwent total thyroidectomy, radical left nephrectomy, radioactive ablation with I-131, radiotherapy, and thyroid suppression therapy. Well-differentiated thyroid metastatic cancer can be amenable to treatment with successful long-term results. | lld:pubmed |
