pubmed-article:9744046 | pubmed:abstractText | A 86-year-old woman presented with a cardiac tumor occupying the whole cavity of the right ventricle and causing right ventricular outflow obstruction. A percutaneous ultrasound-guided biopsy was performed and histologic examination revealed a metastasis of a malignant fibrous histiocytoma. Because of the extensive cardiac involvement and multiple pulmonary metastases, effective surgical therapy was not possible and the patient died soon after diagnosis. | lld:pubmed |
