The precise size was determined with magnetic resonance imaging, although the aneurysms were diagnosed initially on angiography. Multiple coronary aneurysms are rare in adults, The cause may have been atherosclerosis, syphilis, or collagen vascular disease, all of which cause weakening of the media.
