pubmed-article:7947879 | pubmed:abstractText | Orthotopic heart transplantation was successfully performed in a patient with corrected transposition of the great arteries (L-type) who had end-stage cardiomyopathy. Technical modifications for the transplantation procedure were made accordingly. The cardiac allograft was implanted with an alternative technique consisting of bicaval and pulmonary venous anastomoses. Postoperative hemodynamics were normal, and the patient was well 9 months after transplantation. | lld:pubmed |
