While emmetropic and hyperopic patients showed no deviation from the normal HLA distribution pattern, HLA-B 12 was found to be significantly increased (30,3% versus a control frequency of 21,8%) at the Pc less than 0,05 level in myopic patients. This deviation frequency was identical in patients with and without a positive family history and was not related to the degree of myopia. | lld:pubmed |
