pubmed-article:421506 | pubmed:abstractText | A squamous cell carcinoma developed on the chin of a seventy-five year old woman of Irish extraction. This tumor had recurred following standard means of therapy and resisted treatment by chemosurgery. The patient had used a cream containing 5-fluorouracil for several years prior to the appearance of this tumor. The increased incidence of skin cancer and its possible cause is briefly discussed and the role of immunobiologic factors in the development of squamous cell carcinomas is mentioned. | lld:pubmed |
