pubmed-article:3332742pubmed:abstractTextThe definition, natural history and prognosis of sacrococcygeal teratoma (SCT) are reviewed. Two cases of SCT are presented in detail. Both were diagnosed well before delivery and required intensive perinatal management. Both babies survived intact after removal of 30-50% of total body mass. Case selection for antenatal therapy remains a problem. Prospects for antenatal therapy are reviewed.lld:pubmed
