pubmed-article:3321884 | pubmed:abstractText | In 127 industrial and traffic accidents, which showed a damage of the rhinobasis or the posterior wall of the frontal sinus with or without dural rent, median drainage of the frontal sinuses was done after primary wound toilet. In all cases a sure and good working continuous drainage was achieved. Extra- or intracranial complications just as a re-stenosis of the new shaped approach were not observed.
