| pubmed-article:3278167 | pubmed:abstractText | The tumor markers carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), tissue polypeptide antigen (TPA), and carbohydrate antigen 19/9 (CA19/9) have been compared with regard to their sensitivity to liver diseases. All three markers have been found to be sensitive to liver diseases, but to a different degree: TPA rises the most; CEA the least.
