In one, the tumor was removed by tracheal sleeve resection; in the other, endoscopic electroresection was done, followed by coagulation. Tracheal neurilemomas are exceedingly rare. Most are located in the lower trachea, and cause cough and wheezing. They usually have a very long natural history, causing symptoms only after they have attained a considerable size.
