pubmed-article:20596939pubmed:abstractTextBone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) are a potential tool for cell therapy and tissue engineering. In this study, we carried on a comparative study of the characteristics of MSCs from different age cynomolgus monkeys. A variety of factors, including donor age, must be considered before further applications, and various tests should be used to properly assess MSCs before the clinical application, especially when a prolonged culture and ex vivo expansion is necessary.lld:pubmed
