Anti-CD45 (the leucocyte common antigen) intensely labeled large numbers of cells in a regular distribution across the retina; anti-CD68 and anti-macrophage antibodies labeled fewer cells with distinctive morphologies, suggesting the presence of subpopulations of microglia in the human retina expressing leucocyte antigens. | lld:pubmed |
