These manifestations resolved when sulphasalazine was ceased and recurred with rechallenge. The failure of recurrence after treatment with mesalazine (5-aminosalicyclic acid in a sustained release preparation) suggests that sulphapyridine is the component responsible for this reaction. | lld:pubmed |
