| pubmed-article:1574 | pubmed:abstractText | In 27 patients with non-compensated or medically compensated chronic simple glaucoma, the I.O.P. was measured after the administration of two tablets of beta-isoket (which contain 5 mg isosorbiddinitrate and 40 mg bupranolol). In none of the 54 eyes was the I.O.P. higher after administration of the drug. On the contrary, the I.O.P. was siginificantly or highly significantly reduced for more than 2 hours, probably because of the beta-receptor-blocking component of the preparation. | lld:pubmed |
