pubmed-article:15374371pubmed:abstractTextAfter having screened the cognitive functions in 103 institutionalized elderly subjects in Terni, a sample affected by mnemic deficit was obtained so as to verify the use of mnemotechniques on the same. Generally the findings show an improvement in cognitive performance in those treated which leads to suppose that our patients were affected by apparent cognitive deficits rather than real ones, supporting in any case the use of neuropsychological rehabilitative treatment in institutionalized subjects.lld:pubmed
