Among this series of the compounds, 4-[4-[4-(diphenylmethyl)-1-piperazinyl]butoxy]-2,3,6- trimethylphenol (compound 3) showed a potent antihistaminic action (pA2 = 7.11) and an antiasthmatic action (100 mg/kg. p.o) on sensitized guinea pigs.
