From the marine sponge Axinella carteri, the new 3-bromopyrrole carboxylic acid derivative, 5, was obtained along with the known compounds aldisin (6) and 2-bromoaldisin (7). Both sponges were collected from Chuuk Atoll, Federated States of Micronesia. The compounds were characterized by spectroscopic and chemical methods.lld:pubmed
