pubmed-article:9336720 | pubmed:abstractText | There has been a long history of debate as to whether histologic subtypes of follicular lymphoma are associated with unique outcomes. The controversy has been fueled by studies of small patient groups having heterogeneous prognostic factors followed for short intervals, and by a new proposal for the classification of lymphomas (REAL). The current report provides insight into the controversy by using a large group of patients of similar stage and treatment followed for up to 25 years. | lld:pubmed |
