In this article, the processes of bone remodeling in cases of angular and rotational deformities, overriding of bone fragments, and overgrowth are addressed. Critical analyses of the mechanisms to correct these deformities, function of the physis and periosteum, and other related factors are given. The acceptable deformities for complete remodeling to be successful vary at different ages and locations. | lld:pubmed |
