pubmed-article:8632034 | pubmed:abstractText | Two cases of infra renal vena cava leiomyosarcoma are reported. Their locoregional extension resulted in a joint resection of the aorta and the vena cava. The follow-up of the two cases is of respectively 34 months and 32 months. We think that large resections are necessary, due to the microscopic characteristics of such tumors in order to try to improve the prognosis. | lld:pubmed |
