pubmed-article:8433330 | pubmed:abstractText | Molecular genetic approaches such as polymerase chain amplification (PCR) of target genomic sequences are finding wide application in systematic and taxonomic studies of arthropods. PCR-based techniques that preclude the need for target DNA sequence information of the species of interest facilitate molecular taxonomic studies.
