pubmed-article:8429792 | pubmed:abstractText | In contrast to the findings in a recent study (R. P. Gullapalli, R. M. Hawk, R. A. Komoroski, Magn. Reson. Med. 20, 240 (1991)), we found that, even at high hematocrits, the T1 values for extracellular 7Li were at least three times longer than those for intracellular Li+. We conclude that a transmembrane difference in T1 values can be used for separate observation of intracellular and extracellular Li+ in human red blood cell suspensions. | lld:pubmed |
