pubmed-article:8346778 | pubmed:abstractText | The authors studied the accuracy of the noninvasive breath monitor (Voltek Enterprise, Willowdale, Ontario, Canada) in predicting the tidal volumes in five healthy human volunteers. The signals of the breath monitor were compared with the volumes estimated by a calibrated pneumotachograph. The results show that the breath monitor is considerably accurate and can be accepted as a reliable device for clinical applications. | lld:pubmed |
