We report a case in a 60-year-old patient who was seen for dark stools and acute anaemia. The tumour was located in the antrum and developed into the endogastric mucosa with ulceration. The extemporaneous examination revealed leiomyoblastoma of the stomach. A triangular resection of the antrum was performed. The diagnosis was confirmed by the pathology examination. Based on a review of the literature, we recalled the latest advances in diagnosis and therapy for leiomyoblastoma of the stomach. | lld:pubmed |
