pubmed-article:7863184 | pubmed:abstractText | We report the case of a 28-year-old woman who presented with multiple episodes of cerebral bleeding secondary to a choriocarcinoma with brain, lung and abdominal metastases, which had been partially treated 1 year before. The diagnosis was confirmed by a-high serum beta HCG level. This case emphasizes the importance of suspecting an underlying choriocarcinoma and obtaining a serum beta HCG level in young women presenting with a cerebral haemorrhage. | lld:pubmed |
