Sixty hospitalized/institutionalized older adults were interviewed. Most had little or no accurate knowledge of CPR. However, many stated that they would wish to receive CPR and would want to be involved in the CPR decision-making process. The knowledge deficits and misconceptions of older adults should be addressed in order that they may become informed and active participants in the CPR decision-making process. | lld:pubmed |
