pubmed-article:7764812 | pubmed:abstractText | Intact bacteriophage of Lactococcus lactis were recovered from small volumes of lysate by centrifugation at 15,000 g without precipitation with polyethylene glycol and sodium chloride, or ultracentrifugation in a caesium chloride gradient. DNA was then extracted and purified by standard protocols. This DNA was readily digested with restriction endonucleases and used successfully in hybridization experiments. | lld:pubmed |
